Sunday, February 8th, 2009 has been a long and turbulent day for both Rihanna and Chris Brown. This incident about the couple has so many theories about the cause and the fact of the bruises on Rihanna's face. But what we know for sure is that some abstruse thing really happened.
According to the LAPD (Los Angeles Police Department), Chris Brown and an unidentified woman were in a vehicle in the Hancock Park neighborhood of Los Angeles early Sunday when they began arguing. Also due to the fact that it is a domestic violence, the information is confidential. (www.mtv.com)
According to
Entertainment Weekly's Web site, Rihanna and Brown were involved in a car accident Sunday night; a rep for her would not confirm or deny the accident, saying only that "Rihanna is well. Thank you for the care and support."
Seattlepi.com writes that prosecutors won't press charges based on the initial investigation of Chris Brown, but asked officers to gather more evidence as they decide whether to proceed against him. Brown was released on $50,000 bail Sunday night.
MTV.com posted that "Text message might be behind Chris Brown and and Rihanna fight." A text message sent to Chris Brown from another woman may have ignited the explosive argument between the "Run It" singer and girlfriend Rihanna, according to TMZ.
No one knows if the singer Rihanna, Brown's girlfriend, is really fine. According to MTV.com, Rihanna's grandmother told a newspaper in the singer's native Barbados that Rihanna is "fine".
According to eonline.com,
a source close to the investigation tells E! News exclusively that Rihanna has alleged to police that Brown choked her while threatening to kill her and, subsequently, she lost consciousness. Whatever Brown had done that Sunday night, it is affecting his celebrity and the contract he should have done. According to eonline.com, The folks behind the popular "Got Milk?" spots have announced they're dropping the R&B star from their celeb roster, two days after Brown was busted for allegedly roughing up Rihanna. However,
the cosmetics company said it would continue running TV and print ads starring the 20-year-old "Live Your Life" chanteuse but declined to comment on the situation. This incident might have different stories, but what we know for sure is that something happened to both, Rihanna and Chris Brown, on February 9th and they are both still dealing with it.
